Natural Rubber Products, Materials & Applications
Natural rubber, originally sourced from the latex in rubber tree sap, can also be synthetically produced in its purified form. It serves as an excellent polymer for both dynamic and static engineering applications due to its flexibility and durability. However, caution should be exercised when using natural rubber in environments where it may come into contact with ozone, oils, or solvents, as it is not suitable for such conditions. These substances can degrade natural rubber, reducing its effectiveness and lifespan, making it less reliable for certain industrial uses.
