Butyl Rubber Products
Butyl rubber is an excellent choice for shock absorption, offering very low gas and moisture permeability along with exceptional resistance to heat, aging, weather, ozone, chemicals, flexing, abrasion, and tearing. It performs well against phosphate ester-based hydraulic fluids and provides excellent electrical insulation. Its durability makes it suitable for a wide range of applications. However, butyl rubber is not recommended for use in environments where it will be exposed to petroleum oils and fluids, as these can degrade its properties and reduce its effectiveness in certain applications.
